Gorewada International zoo

It was a regular Wednesday morning and suddenly it was my husband who out of nowhere said lets go on a jungle safari, this came as surprise for us as he is least interested in wildlife. We did not believe him first, but later he convinced us that he was actually saying this. Now lets fast forward to the time we reached there.

So, all excited and happy we all got ready within seconds before my changes this mind, we reached there parked our car and headed straight towards the ticket counter…. and to our disappointment there were no tickets available, all hope and excitement lost when my husband returned from the ticket counter. This was so bad as in excitement we all just rushed here without any online enquiry, but my husband said there is some hope as the person on the counter said that we need wait and see if more 15 people come for the ride then only we could take the bus. Waited with all hope and enxiety. Husband had given his phone number and we waited for the call, half an hour later the phone rings and we have been confirmed for the safari. So happy and thankful as we didn’t want to go home today. We were alloted a slot and given tickets, with the seat numbers on them which i found very smart. As people tend to rush for the front seat if not alloted. Before the safari we had ample of time, for selfies and family pics. This place has a good infrastructure with all the facilities given, hygiene maintained as well.

Gorewada international zoo is on the Gorewada fetri road. This trip did cost us 29.13 dollars in rupees it was 2400 as we were 8 people traveling

AC buses charge 300rs / 3.64 dollars on weekdays and 400rs/ 4.85 dollars on weekends/ Public holidays

Non AC buses are for 200rs/ 2.43 dollars and weekends 300rs.
