How to Make Apple Jam Step by Step

Step 1- In a heavy bottom pan add chopped apples, sugar and water. Cook on medium flame until apples become soft and mushy.

Step 2 – Add beetroot and cinnamon stick, once it has cooked well and the beetroot has left its colour, remove the cinnamon stick and beetroot.

Step 3 – Mash and blend the apples using the spoon or blend for smooth texture.

Step 4 – Add vinegar and vanilla essence, continue cooking until the mixture thickens.

Step 5 – Jam Test, drop a little jam on plate. If it sets and doesn’t spread, your jam is ready.

Step 6 – Cool and Store it in a dry glass jar.

Step 7 – This Apple jam stays good for 2 weeks at room temperature, later store it in refrigerator.
