Vegetarian Bread omelet toast recipe


Have you ever tried this recipe, if you are vegetarian and really want to eat something different than the regular bread pakoda then this is your recipe, just grab it.

I would suggest you to use only maida bread that is refined flour bread or the sandwich bread. This tastes good with this bread but you can have options always.

Dipping the bread slice in besan and toasting on the pan makes this so fluffy and tasty. To know the detailed recipe read further.

Bread omelet as the name given can be eaten only two in my case, I was satisfied and full with two slices, but you can enjoy it.

Bread omelet

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup besan / gram flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt or according to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon haldi powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon kasuri methi
  • 1/2 cup Chopped onions
  • 1 green chilli finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/2 cup water or accordingly

Method

  • In a mixing bowl add besan with all the given spices with coriander leaves, chopped onions green chilli
  • Mix this well
  • Pour water to a thick consistency
  • Whisk it well adjust the thickness we don’t want it to be too thick. A bit flowy consistency is required here.
  • Now add in salt Mix well
  • Place a pan on the flame while it is getting heated up dip the bread slice into the batter remove it quickly place it on the pan
  • Brush some butter on the edges and top on the bread aswell
  • Flip and cook on the side
  • Cook on both the sides till golden in colour
  • Remove it on a plate cut it diagonally
  • Serve it hot n enjoy
