Wholesome and healthy as you can bet on this. Mostly consumed during Navratri fasting. This keeps one full for the day without bloating.

Roast this flour in desi ghee for best results. My favourite during fasts as I love the nutty taste of this flour.

Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Water chestnut flour/ Singhade ka atta
- 3/4 cup sugar or according to sweetness
- 1 teaspoon elaichi powder
- Half cup dryfruits chopped
- 1 cup ghee
- 1 cup water
- Dry rose petals for garnish [ optional]
Method
- Heat kadhai pour ghee, now add singhade ka atta
- Roast this till light brown colour or till the flour is dark
- Roast on low flame only
- Once it’s done add dryfruits along with sugar
- Mix it well, now pour in water
- Keep mixing it and let it cook till the flour has soaked up the water
- Mix it well, add elaichi powder
- Off the flame once the halwa has dried up completely.
- Garnish with rose petals
- Enjoy it when hot or else microwave it whenever you are serving it.
