Khurma Recipe
Ingredients
- 250 grams paneer cut into cubes
- 250 grams sugar
- 500 liter water some more if required
- 1 tablespoon cardamom powder/ elaichi
Method
- In a pressure cooker pour water and sugar
- Let the sugar melt first
- Now add in paneer cubes, cut the cubes according to your preference
- Close the lid and remove the Whistle
- Keep the flame on low
- Let it cook for 2 hours on low flame
- But keep checking in between if you see the water getting thick and the paneer has not turned golden brown add half cup more water
- Again close the lid and cook till paneer turns golden in colour.
- Once it down, strain the sugar syrup and let the khurma cool down
