Thai Noodles recipe/ How to cook Thai noodles


The name noodles in itself is so tempting, I guess many people have already made this yum noodles but today iam sharing a very simple and quick way to make these noodles at home.

Thai noodles are not the regular noodles which we use. These are made from rice noodles. It is healthy and protein packed.

How to cook rice noodles?

Boil water in a pot add oil n salt off the flame. Put 1 packet of rice noodles and cover it with a lid for about 5 minutes. Strain and use.

Thai noodles taste delicious and are called healthy only when you add variety of vegetables and protein to it. So keep this in mind while cooking. Rest I will say it’s super simple and easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet rice noodles
  • 2 cups of mixed vegetables ( Bell peppers red / yellow and capsicum) chopped
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • Half cup carrot diced
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon sprouts
  • 2 tablespoon roasted peanuts
  • 3 to 4 tablespoon oil for cooking
  • Salt as per taste

Method

  • Boil water in a pot with some salt and oil off the flame add the rice noodles into the hot water cover it and keep for five minutes. Then strain and keep
  • Take a wok pour oil add in garlic saute a bit then add onions cook till light in colour.
  • Now add in carrots with some salt Cook till they have turned soft
  • Now it’s time for the veggies to be added along with paneer/ cottage cheese saute a bit
  • Then add in soy sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, kashmiri red chilli powder, salt and sugar. Mix all this well
  • Add in the cooked rice noodles toss this up, till everything is coated
  • Off the flame. Garnish with sprouts and peanuts
