
Babycorn are now easily available in Indian markets, which is really good. Today We’ll share babycorn fritters recipes with you. This can be served in your kitty parties or at any function. Coat and keep them before hand and deep dry when its time to serve.
I have boiled the babycorn before making this fritters and coated it with some herbs and spices. Allow them to rest for atleast half an hour before frying. This process will make the fritters taste more delicious.

Ingredients
- 1 pack of babycorn
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 tablespoon coriander leaves
- pinch of Turmeric powder
- half teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- half teaspoon chaat masala powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- half teaspoon black salt
- regu;ar salt as per taste
- pinch of cumin seeds
- oil for deep frying
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 green chilli chopped
- 1 cup besan/ chiclpea flour
Method
- First boil the babycorn and keep aside
- In a mixing bowl add the babycorns then add in few coriander leaves with salt oil, garlic powder, blackpepper powder, chaat masala powder.
- Mix and coat this well
- In another bowl take chickpea flour, green chilli, onion, turmeric powder , coriander and red chilli powder. then add cumin seed , salt n few drops of oil
- Mix this well and pour water
- Consistency has to be thick
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan
- Dip the coated babycorn into the batter
- Deep fry till golden brown
- Serve this with your favourite sauce or chutney
