Nutty Capsicum Sabzi recipe

Story Time

Let me tell you I had forgotten about this recipe way long back, like i can make somthing like this or used to make capsicum bhaji using groundnuts, just wondering how did this ever happen to me..cluless…

This year I had gone to my brothers place where my SIL made this capsicum sabzi and my daughter was completely droooling over it, she made me cook this recipe when we were back home. SO thaught of documenting this for further.

Nutty Capsicum sabzi

Ingredients

  • 5 capsicum chopped
  • 2 large onions chopped
  • 2 green chillis chopped
  • half teaspoon salt or as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon groundnut oil/ or any
  • 5 tablespoon coarsely grounded peanuts [ dry roasted]
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

Method

  • Take a pan pour oil then add onion and green chilli to it, fry till onion turns pink, on low flame.
  • Now, add in cumin seeds, then chopped capsicum give it a nice mix.
  • Add salt let this cook for 2 minutes capsicum has to be a bit raw. No overcooking here.
  • Now off the flame, garnish the roasted groundnut to the sabzi, mix this well
  • Serve this hot, with roti or paratha
