Roasted cashew nuts(How to roast kajus)

Nuts which ever they may be are all power foods for human body,with so many nutrients in them,one can’t stay away from these super foods to keep healthy life style,these nuts or dry fruit is a must have think.And we all should include them in our diet on daily basis,to keep away disease.Cashews are one such nuts which I love eating Roasted,with any flavour.the whole house starts to fill with the aroma once it’s been roasted.


Ingredients-1 cup= 250 ml

  • 1 cup kajus(cashew nuts)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 4 tsp of ghee(for frying)


  • Heat ghee in a pan,once its hot add the kajus in the pan,fry till golden brown
  • Till the kajus have been done.mix salt,red chili powder and chaat masala and keep aside
  • check the kajus if they are golden in colour then remove it from the pan and spread it on the kitchen towel
  • when the kajus are still hot mix the masalas which is ready with spoon properly
  • roasted kajus are ready to munch on,any time
  • store it in air tight container
