Farali kadhi

Falhari kadhi is made with singhade ka atta that’s chestnut flour with ginger and green chilli to make it flavourful. As this is fasting recipe no haldi powder is used. One can include this in there diet as it is a healthy option. Sugar level can be managed by one to how much they want.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon green chilli n ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin/ jeera seeds
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sendha namak
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon singhade/ chestnut flour
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee/ oil
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

Method

  • Whisk curd well with a whisker and add the flour, whisk it again nicely without leaving any lumps behind
  • Heat a pan with ghee add cumin seeds let it crackle now add in green chilli n ginger paste Cook till light brown
  • Then add in curry leaves
  • Pour the curd mixture
  • Add salt and water as per consistency required for water
  • Bring it to boil for 2 minutes off the flame
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Enjoy it when piping hot
