Ingredients

  • 2 cups foxnuts(makhana)
  • 1 tbsp ghee (to roast makhana)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp roasted peanuts
  • 2 tbsp roasted chana
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Roast the foxnuts, heat ghee in a pan add foxnuts and roast on low flame for 6-7 minutes until they turn crispy. Keep aside to cool.
  2. Prepare the mix, In a large bowl, combine roasted makhana, chopped onion, tomato, peanuts and roasted chana.
  3. Season the chaat, add salt, black salt, chaat masala and roasted cumin powder. Mix well to coat everything with the spices.
  4. Garnish & Serve, add freshly chopped coriander leaves, Serve immediately for the perfect crunch.
