Chaas or Matta has been in Indian household for ages and everyone loves to curate a new version with the traditional one. So today I am sharing a very healthy probiotic drink which is also called Buttermilk with you guys.
If you are looking for a cooling, healthy, and flavourful drink, spiced buttermilk ( also known as chaas or mattha) is the perfect choice. This traditional Indian beverage not only refreshes but also aids digestion and keeps you hydrated, especially in hot weather. With a tadka (tempering) of mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilli, this recipe is both simple and delightful.
