Lentils are high in proteins and vitamins,they are the source of energy for our body.Being from a vegetarian family we can’t miss on our dals,this recipe is traditional one made on festive,I was left with some of the lentils (dal) in my kitchen, so thought of mixing all of them and making vadas.

Ingredient
- 1/4 cup urad dal
- 1/4 cup masur dal
- 1/4 cup mong dal
- 1/2 cup chana dal
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 3 to 4 green chili
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp haldi powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp garam Masala powder
- 1/2 tsp amchur powder
- oil for deep-frying
- salt as per taste
Method
- Wash and soak all the dals for 2 to 3 hours.
- grind dals in a coarse paste,if it doesn’t come in one time in the jar do twice
- in the second round mix dals and spices,coriander leaves then blend them properly
- Now in a mixing bowl,add chopped onions and salt,mix it with the dals
- take small portions and make flat vadas,keep them ready
- Heat oil in kadai,once its hot enough start frying them till golden brown
- remove it on kitchen towel
- serve it as evening snack with tea and green chutney
