Haldi or turmeric has many health benefits, and our ancestors also suggested in consuming haldi in milk or tea.Tea made with haldi is very healthy especially if one has a bad throat or cold.Haldi has many more benefits like it boosts immune system, helps in treating and preventing cancer,helps in daibetes and lung condition, list goes on….whenever my family is down with cold and cough we start drinking haldi tea as it relaxes the lungs and heals the throat. A very simple tea with many health benefits.lets get the recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 to 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 teaspoons tea
  • 1 tablespoon haldi powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 2 black pepper
  • 2 cloves/ lavang

Its basically the regular tea only difference is that we add in haldi to it.keep quantity as your desire

Method

  • Take saucepan pour in milk and water (you can take 2 cups of milk to 2 cups of water also)
  • Boil it
  • Add in tea (as your choice)
  • Add sugar,ginger with pepper and cloves
  • Once it has boiled add in haldi powder
  • Cook for a minute
  • Strain and serve it hot
  • Your haldi tea is ready
  • A complete medicinal tea
