So this recipe is a versatile one used in so many Indian dishes. You can cook and store them in air tight container for a month in refrigerator.
As we all love our dahi vadas, bhajiyas, chaats, pakodas and panipuris this goes well with all of them.
Making them and storing is quite easy. No efforts required here. I would say most simple yet ignored recipe on my blog, for God knows what reason it took me so long to post this recipe. But never mind here it is.

How to store it?
Store it in air tight container for a month in refridgerator.
Imli Khajur Chutney
Ingredients
- 1 cup deseeded khajur/ dates
- 2 tablespoon imli/tamarind deseeded
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup jaggery
- 1/2 teaspoon kala namak
- 1/2 tablespoon chaat masala
- Pinch of Hing/asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon amchur powder
- 2 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
- water as per thickness required
Method
- Take a pan add water for boiling, add in the khajur and imli boil it for 5 minutes, add jaggery and cook for few more seconds
- Off the flame and let it cool down, grind it to a fine paste. add water if required.
- Now strain the pulp and keep the liquid aside
- Add salt,amchur powder, kala namak, red chilli powder,chaat masala, hing, mix this all together well.
- Store it in air tight container
- Use when required.
