Corn tikki/How to make sweet corn tikki


There’s something about these corns be them Desi or vedeshi ,that earthy taste,,just love them.let them be in any form.My Mils favourite too.made these tikki for breakfast today,can be served anytime. Let’s get the recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn grinded (which ever you prefer I have used sweetcorn)
  • 1 cup potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 to 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/4 tablespoon haldi powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon amchur powder or lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • Oil for applying

Method

  • Take a bowl mix all the ingredients with salt
  • Place a tawa on medium flame
  • By the time tawa is getting hot
  • Make lemon size ball of the mixture and flatten them with your palm
  • Apply oil on the tawa and keep these tikkis for cooking
  • When it is light brown on one side flip it on the other side
  • Cook both the sides well ,by drizzling oil
  • Your corn tikki is ready to be enjoyed with hot tea or coffee or with chutney
