Ingredients
- 1 cup [150g] sweercorn kernels {fresh, canned or frozen n thawed}
- 1 cup [120g] plain flour
- 1/4 cup [30g] cornflour
- half cup [120ml] milk
- 2 onions chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- half teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
- half teaspoon red chilli flakes
- half teaspoon red chilli powder
- handful of coriander leaves
Method
- If you are using fresh corn then you need to boil them and strain
- In a mixing bowl add in chopped onions, corriander leaves, garlic powder, mixed herbs, chilli flakes, salt , red chilli powder , cornflour and plain flour.
- Mix it well and pour milk till you get thick consistency.
- Mash it a bit with a masher
- Heat a griddle spread butter
- Now with the help of spoon pour small portions on the griddle
- Fry till crispy brown on both the sides
- Serve them with yoghurt dip or mayonnaise
Serving Ideas
- Stack them up on your bread slices and enjoy as a sandwich
- Serve as a side with salads for dinner
