Makhana Namkeen



Makhana phool is versatile nuts ,have them as sweet or spicy or you can have them as curry too.Eating them in any form is healthy and tasty.Today am making Namkeen from makhana a simple snack for munching when you want something to eat but not heavy .Promise you this will be loved by young and old in the house and doesn’t take time to make….lets get the recipe

Ingredients

1 cup Makhana (foxnut)

1/2 tablespoon chaat Masala

1/2 tablespoon haldi powder (turmeric)

1/4 tablespoon red chilli powder

1/4 tablespoon sugar (powdered)

1 tablespoon kismish(raisins)

1 tablespoon kaju (cashew nut)

7 to 8 curry leaves

4 tablespoon ghee

Method

Take a wok add ghee and salt with Makhana and roast them on low flame for 5 to 8 minutes

You can see Makhana getting little brown remove from heat

Place them in another bowl

In the same wok,add ghee roast kismish and kaju separately, set aside

Now in the same wok add 2 tablespoon of ghee with curry leaves,haldi,red chili powder,chaat masala and powdered sugar

Give it a nice mix add the roasted Makhana and dry fruit in the spices and mix well

Your Makhana Namkeen is ready to munch on…enjoy without guilt
