Korean Chilli Potato recipe

Potato is a versatile vegetable which goes well with everything. So, today let’s explore some Korean recipe. Cooking this is very simple and quick. Good for snacks or party.

Kids all time favourite as these are made with potatoes, which they’ll never say no to. As always veggies here can be used according to ones preference whichever your kid loves. Potatoes are boiled and is made into a tough by adding cornflour or Refined flour. Then it is given shape with a bottle which you will see further here.

Korean Chilli Potato


  • 6 boiled potatoes
  • 2 cup cornflour
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoon green chilli finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon garlic chopped
  • 1 cup spring onions green
  • 2 cups capsicum chopped
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon schezwan chutney
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt or according to taste


  • Mash the potatoes in a bowl and add cornflour knead a dough, if required use oil
  • Take small lemon size portions press it flat and take a small bottle press in between to give it the desired shape.
  • Shape all In this manner
  • Place a pot filled with water and bring it to boil once it starts boiling add in the potato balls boil till the balls start floating up, remove it out with a strainer immediately don’t overcook and place aside
  • Now take a fry pan pour oil let it heat add in the chopped garlic and Chilli, let it cook a bit now add in the veggies saute it keep the flame low
  • Now add in the sauces given with the salt.
  • Mix it well, now place the boiled potato balls on the mixture and gently mix it without breaking it
  • Serve it hot

Bread Pizza recipe

In real terms this can’t be called as pizza, but exceptions are always there.

Today’s recipe is going to be a very simple and quick one. For all the pizza lover’s this is not exactly pizza but almost like a pizza.

My kids love this recipe as they have grown up and can easily make this bread pizza, without any hassle or my help.

Toppings here can be of so many variety and choices. It completely depends on your choice what you like to add in the topping or skip.

Cooking time here is only 15 minutes if you have veggies to cut.

Serves best in kids special party, birthdays or kitty’s.

Bread Pizza

Bread Pizza


  • Four bread slices ( brown/white)
  • 1 cup mushrooms chopped
  • 1/2 cup green capsicum
  • 1/2 cup onions Chopped in squares
  • 1 cup red and yellow bell pepper chopped
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • Pinch of black salt
  • Cheese sauce
  • Butter
  • Tomato sauce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Grated cheese


  • Apply butter on one side of the bread, then spread mayonnaise and tomato sauce on the bread.
  • Add all the veggies given above.
  • Sprinkle black pepper powder
  • Sprinkle herbs
  • A lit pinch of black salt
  • Loads of grated cheese
  • Microwave till the cheese melts or heat a pan and cover on low flame for few seconds, till the cheese melts
  • Enjoy them piping hot, anytime…any occasion.
  • Simple bread pizza is ready.

Let me answer this if you still know,

Tikki is basically shallow fried and cutlet is deep fried. That’s the difference they have.

Soya paneer tikki as the name is a wholesome snack for any occasion.

You can make these tikkis and freeze them as well, just shallow fry when required.

Serves well with coriander chutney.

Paneer and soybean chunks are fully protein packed, this keeps one full for a long time.

We love using mini chunks,rather than the big ones.As the taste differs a lot with mini ones.I am using Nutrela soy chunks here a brand that I have trusted for long.

This recipe will be loved by all in the house, that’s my bet to you.

For binding these together I have used chickpea flour here.

Soya paneer tikki

So, let’s get started with the recipe


Soya Paneer Tikki


  • 1 cup paneer (grated)
  • 1 cup soya chunks (boiled,squeezed and grinded)
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon dhaniya/coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon jeera/cumin powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon black salt/kala namak
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 chickpea flour/besan as per requirement
  • 1/4 tablespoon amchur/dried mango powder
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • Oil for frying


  • Take a bowl add grated paneer and soybean (grind to a paste)
  • Mix,then add the veggies and given masala
  • Add salt with chickpea flour
  • Mix all this very well
  • Adjust the chickpea flour as per requirement, if the mixture is not binding well
  • Now heat a tawa
  • Make small tikkis of the mixture
  • Drizzle some oil on tawa and cook tikkis
  • Cook till golden brown in colour
  • Once they all are fried well
  • Serve them with coriander chutney and enjoy this lip-smacking tikkis in all the weathers with your hot cup of tea.

Making of paneer tikka is very simple with a few points to remember if you want that hotel style paneer tikka sashlik.

By following a perfect recipe you can definitely get that scrumptious taste at home as well.

Key ingredient for tikka is mustard oil, yes this oil gives you the exact flavour and the smoky texture. If you switch using mustard oil I guess the taste will differ a lot.

Paneer Tikka sashlik

  • 1 cup Paneer cubes
  • 1 cup shimla mirch/capsicum chopped in square
  • 1 cup onion chopped in square
  • 1 cup tomato chopped in cubes n pulp removed
  • Butter for grilling
  • 1/2 cup mustard oil
  • 1 cup curd
  • 2 tablespoon besan /chickpea flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon jeera powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder /dhaniya powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon kasuri methi
  • 1 tablespoon salt or as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder


  • Take a bowl add in curd,now add besan, coriander powder, jeera powder, kashmiri red chilli, salt, garam masala powder, kasuri methi and mustard oil and mix it
  • Mixture for tikka is ready
  • Now,add the chopped veggies in this bowl with paneer and coat well
  • Leave it for an hour
  • After an hour prick the veggies and paneer in skewers
  • Heat griddle or tawa
  • Apply butter, place the skewers on them
  • Keep applying butter on all sides
  • Grill till golden brown
  • Take on a plate drizzle with lemon juice and mayonnaise
  • Serve them hot
  • Paneer tikka is ready

Carrot soups are creamy, lite and healthy one. Best way to make your kids have their carrots. As this dish does have potato for that creamy texture.

A perfect winter soup or for any lazy Sunday when one doesn’t want to cook, this healthy soup can be served with some of your favorite breads.

Making carrot soup is quite easy process. Just involves carrots, potatoes and some spices to get that taste. This soup can be made and stored in the refrigerator and warm it up before serving.

Carrots are good for eyesight and skin.

My daughter is not fond of eating vegetables and carrots I think she’ll never ever dream of eating, this is the only way to make her eat. Actually she was convinced of the potatoes been used here. What else will any mother want when your kids start eating more healthy food.

Creamy Carrot soup

Carrot soup


  • 4 carrots chopped
  • 1 potato chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 5 – 7 garlic cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon salt or as per taste


  • Heat butter and oil in a pan
  • Add bay leaf, garlic and saute
  • Add chopped onions, carrots and potatoes saute till light brown in colour
  • Pour water,close the lid and cook for 5 minutes
  • Let the mixture cool down completely
  • Grind it to a fine paste
  • Strain the pulp
  • Reheat in the same pan pour in the grinded mixture, add in water for desired consistency, with salt
  • Add butter and boil for 1 minute
  • Sprinkle black pepper powder
  • Serve it hot
  • With some croutons
  • Potato gives a creamy texture to the soup
  • If you wish you can skip using potato,instead use cornflour for the creamy texture

Have you heard about Falafel or eaten, I guess many of you might have tasted this dish. How many of you have tried making this at home or searching for any easy recipe, then you are in the right place, go ahead and do enjoy by reading and cooking.

What is Falafel?

This is a Mediterranean dish with mashed chickpea flavored with some spices and served with pita bread or enjoyed with hummus.

When one hears Mediterranean dish instance thought comes to our mind is non veg, yes but this particular dish is vegetarian ,so be happy.

It usually gets difficult for pure vegetarian people like me to eat while traveling abroad , falafel are savour for us.

Nutrition level is high on falafel for chickpea being the main ingredient here. Falafel is served with pita bread but you can have them with your favorite dip also. Middle East countries do have some awesome cuisine, which we can include in our daily cooking.

Furthermore you can even use your regular roti and stuff falafel with the given curd mixture and chutney, one of the best lunch box recipe to pack for your kids or for office.

Falafel recipe


  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour /besan
  • 1 cup chickpea /kabuli chana
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • A bunch of coriander leaves
  • 7 to 8 garlic
  • 1/4 tablespoon jeera/cumin
  • Coriander chutney for garnish
  • Curd and onion mixture for garnish
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt as per taste
  • oil for deep frying
  • shredded cabbage for garnish
  • Roti for making wrap
Falafel wrap


  • Wash and soak chickpea overnight in water
  • Next day take a blender jar add chickpea, onion, lemon juice, jeera, coriander leaves, garlic and salt
  • Grind into a coarse paste
  • Add chickpea flour and blend again
  • Remove the falafel mixture in a bowl
  • Add black pepper powder
  • Mix it well
  • Refrigerator it for 2 hours
  • After 2 hours remove it from the fridge and start making small lemon size balls out of the dough
  • Heat oil for deep-frying
  • Deep-fry till golden brown in colour
  • Add one ball at a time in the oil to make it easy for frying
  • Falafel is ready to be served
  • Enjoy it while crispy hot with your favorite dip.
  • Serve it on cabbage leaves and garnish with coriander chutney and the curd mixture.
  • You can wrap falafel in roti with curd mixture and chutney

  • 2 cup American sweet corn kernels
  • 1/2 onions chopped finely

  • 1/4 tablespoon chaat masala

  • Boil the corn first and strain it
  • Take them in a mixing bowl

How to make Methi Papdi/Recipe of Papdi

Indian street food can never ever be complete without papdi,now papdi chaat is all time favorite in and around the world .And did you know it can be made in the house and much better and healthier.

So today’s recipe is papdi perfect for summer vacations as kids keep craving for some thing or the other whole day,just make these papadis and let them decide what topping they love on it.make them in bulk and store😊trust me they’ll be vanished in days.

The store one’s are made of maida/refined flour,but I have used wheat flour with maida as well,but the ratio is 1:1 as my twins eat them in every alternate days so i have to be cautious in what they eat and eating maida/refined flour on daily basis is just a No No for me.

This papdi can be used for dahi puris,bhel , papadi chaat and sev puri.


  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup maida/refined flour
  • 1 tablespoon kasuri methi
  • 1 tablespoon ajwain
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Round cutter for shape
  • 5 tablespoon oil
  • Water for kneading the dough
  • Fork for pricking holes


  • Take Maida and wheat flour in a large bowl in which mixing can be done
  • Add salt,kasuri methi and 5 tablespoon oil
  • Mix it well with your hands
  • Add water if required and knead a soft dough
  • Let it rest for half an hour
  • Take small portions of the dough and roll into large round shape just like roti
  • Using round cutter,cut them into shape
  • Using the fork prick holes on the rolled papdi
  • Spread them on sheet or newspaper
  • In same manner make all the papdi
  • Remember while spreading on the paper keep it covered with a wet cloth
  • Otherwise it will dry up
  • Now,deep fry them till light brown
  • Store them in air tight container
  • This can be used for one month.
  • Your delicious papdi are ready
  • Serve them a quick snack to your guests.
  • Adding oil to the dough makes it crispy don’t skip this.

Masala papad/Restaurant style masala papad

Visiting to restaurant after sitting back the first thing we order is starters and one of the most preferred and demanded starters are these Masala papad.simple recipe of making this which requires nothing much,still when served those beautiful colours on that plate are so tempting.   • 4 large papads or punjabi papad
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 3 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • Some coriander leaves chopped for garnish
  • Oil for deep frying papad
  • 1 tablespoon kala namak
  • 1/2 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon chaat masala (optional)
  • Nylon Sev for garnish


  • Deep fry the papads and keep aside
  • Meanwhile mix all the chopped veggie in a bowl
  • Place the papad on serving plate spread the mixture on them generously
  • Sprinkle kala namak and red chilli powder
  • Garnish with sev
  • Serve
