Paneer Sandwich


It’s the same old day,running in the kitchen,already late with my morning puja as it was sawan Saturday today had to go to the temple and make paneer sandwich for twins. Crumbled the paneer fast and chopped veggie,almost beating the time to be on time😂 thinking in my mind,god i could have made some thing else n given, with all the hanky-panky I am on time with the lunch box in twins bag.Even mother’s run late at times,all human.

Until now you might have guessed the recipe I am sharing is Paneer Sandwich which is my favourite too.Kids enjoy this and their classmate more😀 and then comes your mother cooks so well,I’ll tell my mom to cook this tomorrow ……and on top kids want the same taste as his or her friends mother had cooked,now tell me How is this possible 😯 Any waz,coming to the recipe super quick and easy one as i don’t like cooking too complicated stuff

Let’s see what goes in making this Paneer Sandwich

Paneer Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 250 grams paneer
  • 1 cup spring onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 cup cabbage grated
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 tablespoon amchur powder
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnish
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon schezwan chutney
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce

Method

  • Crumble or grate the paneer
  • Keep in a bowl add in chopped veggie
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • All the given spices and salt
  • Mix it well
  • Apply mayonnaise and butter on one slice

  • And schezwan chutney and tomato sauce on other
  • Spread the filling on the bread
  • Toast it on tawa or griller
  • Your paneer sandwich is ready with simple some stuff

Aloo masala sandwich/How to make spicy potato sandwich


Sandwich means stuffed bread with boiled and mashed potatoes in our house,this is more preferred than any other sandwiches as it is easy to make and no tantrum by any one in the house.simple boiled and cooked with some spices and you are good to go.

Again i would say a good lunch box recipe for kids and adults.A change from the routine food.my twins love masala aloo sandwich a lot and its for them if i have to make it again n again and ya let me tell you my Mil also loves them simple to make and too fast to finish.

Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes
  • 1/4 tablespoon haldi powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder (i have used Rajesh masala its a hit in purvanchal region)
  • 1 tablespoon salt or as per taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 onion slit long
  • 1 capsicum cut long
  • 1 carrot slit long
  • butter for applying
  • Green chutney
  • Cabbage shredded

Method

  • Boil and mash the potato well
  • Heat kadhai add oil then rai/mustard seeds,green chillies and all the spices given with salt,keep the flame low as you can burn the masala.if you think it might burn just sprinkle some water
  • Then add all the mashed potatoes and mix it well,let it cool down
  • Heat tawa add butter and onions, capsicum,carrot and cabbage
  • Saute for a minute on low flame
  • Keep aside
  • Now spread butter and green chutney on all the slices

  • Keep the sauted veggies on one slice and aloo ka masala on top
  • Place the other slice on top
  • Heat it on the same tawa by applying butter on both sides
  • Your Aloo masala sandwich is ready

  • Cut them into half and serve with green chutney
  • Have them as tea time snack or take in your lunch box,choice is yours

Coleslaw/ cabbage salad/How to make coleslaw


Coleslaw was originated in Netherlands in 17th century and from then this recipe has its different form by different country. The original one being cabbage and butter or oil as mayonnaise was created in 18th century, so instead or butter, people started using mayonnaise. (As in Wikipedia)

I really love this salad as they can be used in so many forms let it be in sandwich, burger or as a side dish,a best kids friendly recipe which they love and can be used in their lunch box as well.my kids prefer them in sandwich, so i am soughted for their lunch box..

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 tablespoon grated carrot
  • 2 to 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper powder

Method

  • Take a bowl add mayonnaise, lemon juice, vinegar, salt,sugar and black pepper powder
  • Mix it well with a whisk so that no lumps remain
  • Now,add in shredded cabbage and carrots
  • Mix well so that mayonnaise is coated well with cabbage
  • Refrigerator the mixture
  • Coleslaw is ready to be served
  • A simple and easy recipe that can be made in your kitchen,then why buy it from store
  • Make and store in the fridge
  • And enjoy it with your burgers and sandwiches

Chocolate sandwich/How to make chocolate sandwich


Chocolate is loved by all …so I am no excuse…just love this sandwich..serve them hot from the tawa…or sandwich maker…simple recipe and quick to make. Best for kids tiffin box or evening snack…lets see the recipe

Ingredients

2 bread slices (wheat or which ever you like)

Nutella spread or any chocolate spread generous amount

4 tablespoon butter

2 tablespoon choco chip’s

1 pinch salt

How to make chocolate sandwich

Apply butter on one the sides of the bread

Then spread nutella chocolate spread, generous amount on one sides of both the bread

Sprinkle choco chip’s on one slice, cover it another slice

Prepare all the slices in this manner

Heat the tawa or grill pan cook the bread slices by pressing it with spatula from both the sides

Cook all the bread slices in this manner

Apply some more chocolate spread on the slices and sprinkle some salt ,choco chips

Serve them hot

Bombay sandwich 


This sandwich takes me to my childhood days,as we use to travel a lot n while travelling best thing to have is sandwich,it was called Bombay sandwich coz it was made here n travelling to remote villages one couldn’t get them.This sandwich had green chutney, cucumber, tomatoes only.Especially while going to native place in summer vacation, I would wait to have them…There was something about the train’s, stations and sandwiches while waiting on platform at CST station(VT station then) This is food my way,the taste I had

Ingredients

4 bread slices (sides cut)

4 tsp green chutney

3 to 4 tsp butter

1 cucumber  (sliced)

1 tomato  (sliced)

Salt for sprinkling

1 tsp of chat masala  (for sprinkling)

Grated cheese

Bombay sandwich

Method

Apply butter on all the slices,with green chutney

Keep tomatoes and cucumber slices on the bread

Sprinkle chat masala and salt on the bread

Spread grated cheese

Cover it with another bread slice

Cut them into four slits
