So if you are not in a hurry and think of being a bit of adventurous, especially not too hungry then try this recipe. So simple and quick as the advertisement says Bas Do Minute (just two minutes)

Maggi is love, leave my kids you give me maggi and I’ll enjoy them any time. That doesn’t mean I keep eating maggi on regular basis No. Once in two months as an adult we all know it’s just maida with preservatives.

Baked Maggi

  • 2 packets of maggi
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1/2 cup capsicum chopped
  • 1/2 cup onions Chopped
  • Maggi Masala 2 sachet
  • Cheese of ones choice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon butter


  • Heat butter in a pan add green chilli, onions and capsicum cook for a minute.
  • Now add in Maggi Masala Give it a nice mix.
  • Pour water, bring it to boil
  • Add the noodles and cook till dry
  • Now take rectangular baking tray spread Maggi in it and top it with a generous amount of cheese
  • Microwave till cheese melts
  • Enjoy this drooling Maggi.

Baked potatoes recipe

We all love potatoes and so one keeps creating new recipes. Here’s a yum recipe for snacks or breakfast.

Boiling potatoes is a bit tricky here, we don’t have to overcook it or under cook both ways one has to be very clear with cooking

Veggies again can be of ones taste, so use whichever you like.

This is completely my way of making this, I have peeled the skin as it had a lot of mud. You can bake with the skin if you get clean potatoes.

Baked potatoes


  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 cup red, yellow bell pepper chopped
  • 1/2 capsicum chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 1/2 cucumber chopped
  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kala namak
  • 1 tablespoon mixed herbs
  • 1/2 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon jeera powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Scooped potatoes


  • Boil water in a pan add salt and cook potatoes in it, potatoes should not be overcooked
  • Cool the potatoes and cut into half, now peel the skin and keep aside
  • Scoop out the potatoes in between with a spoon
  • Take a mixing bowl add in chopped bell pepper, capsicum, onion, cucumber, coriander leaves, herbs,kala namak,salt,red chilli powder, jeera powder, chaat masala, garam masala and scooped potatoes. Mash this well in the mixture and mix.
  • Grease a baking tray or pan with butter
  • Apply butter on the potatoes both the side
  • Fill the scooped potatoes with the mixture prepared
  • Sprinkle salt over the potatoes, some herbs
  • Place it on the baking tray and spread a generous amount of cheese
  • Bake till cheese melts
  • Enjoy this simple and yum snack

Hey there! Welcome to my blog hope you all are enjoying your holidays and baking a lot of yummy goodies. Thought of sharing with you this super easy chocolate chips cookie recipe, which is eggless and quick to make. My daughter did bake these beauties and they came out really delicious.

The point I’m saying is that even your kid can try baking them, without any hassle.

Chocolate chips cookies


  • 280 grams Maida/Refined flour
  • 120 grams powdered sugar
  • 120 grams brown sugar
  • 150 grams butter
  • 90 to 100 grams milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or more


  • Take a bowl add butter along with sugar and blend till creamy in texture
  • Now, add in the flour, soda mix well
  • Add in chocolate chips, vanilla essence and milk
  • Mix it well
  • The dough has to be sticky
  • Preheat the oven at 160 degrees
  • With the help of scooper scope small portions and place on a baking sheet
  • Garnish some more chocolate chips on the cookies
  • Bake for 30 minutes or till the edges turn brown.
  • Let them cool down
  • Enjoy your chocolate chips cookies

The sugar used here is brown n regular sugar.

We all work hard in giving one’s family the best of healthy food, by making kids eat more of veggies or trying to convince them.

Veg au gratin is one such recipe which I love baking and my kids enjoy eating them….the main reason is the amount of cheese is added to the recipe, layered with white sauce n topped with mozzarella, cheddar cheese.

Very simple recipe, extremely easy to make, enjoy them with your favourite bread. Love the vibrant colour this recipe has.

  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup capsicum
  • 2 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste
  • 1 cup white sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder


  • Cut all the veggies
  • Take a pan pour olive oil and butter
  • Saute all the given veggies for 1 minute by adding garlic and salt
  • Take a baking dish grease it with olive oil
  • Layer the veggies, top it with white sauce by fully covering the veggies

  • Sprinkle black pepper powder
  • Top with generous amount of mozzarella and cheddar cheese
  • By covering well
  • Sprinkle some olive oil
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or till the crust is brown

Eggless Pineapple cake

Baking cake’s don’t require any occasion for me atleast, if you feel like having a cake just bake them up, that’s how simple it is.

Pineapple cake tastes yummy and smells too yummy… I mean the flavor of pineapple is just drooling , if you are not a pineapple cake fan I bet after trying out this recipe you will be one.

We all have heard this baking is a science… Right!! But how many of you took it seriously… I would like to share my experience here, being foodie I did have habit of not measuring things and just going with my gut feeling, same stuff I did with baking also, slowly improvised myself…. Now not a pinch of ingredient goes

extra in my baking process.

Baking sounds fun, but with perfect recipe and measurements.

Here’s a full proof, no fail recipe of pineapple cake a eggless one as this is vegetarian blog and I am a veggie.

Pineapple cake

Eggless Pineapple cake

Ingredients for sponge:

  • 240 grams Maida/ Refined flour
  • 180 grams powdered sugar
  • 120 grams milk powder
  • 125 grams milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon /5 ml pineapple essence
  • 125 grams unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Ingredients for icing on cake

  • 250 grams non-dairy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon yellow colour
  • 3 to 4 tablespoon pineapple crush

Method for sponge :

  • Take a dry bowl add in maida, baking powder, baking soda mix well or strain twice so that the baking soda and powder is mixed well
  • Now in another bowl add butter, milk powder, milk, powdered sugar. Whisk this really well for like 2 minutes.
  • Now, after that mix the wet ingredients in dry one’s but little at a time
  • Once you have incorporated everything well
  • Preheat the oven at 160 degrees for 10 minutes
  • Once the oven is ready add the lemon juice ,pineapple essence in the batter and gently mix it
  • Grease your 8 inch cake tin with butter and line it with parchment paper
  • Pour the batter in the tin and bake for 35 minutes on 160 degrees
  • After 35 minutes your sponge is done, remove and let cool down completely, for about 3 to 4 hours

Method for icing the cake :

  • After cooling the cake cut in into 2 layer with a bread knife
  • Soak both the cut layers with sugar syrup (1 cup water and 1 tablespoon sugar boil and cool, then use it) and keep it aside
  • Whip the cream on a high speed with double blender till peaks are formed
  • Take half in a bowl add pineapple crush and mix, this will be filled between the layers
  • With rest of the whipped cream add yellow colour and mix it for the outer coating

Assembling of the pineapple cake

  • Pour a spoon of whip cream on the surface of table or cardboard so that the cake doesn’t shift from its place while giving finishing touch
  • Place one layer on the cream press a bit apply sugar syrup if you haven’t, now spread the pineapple crush whip cream on the layer with a spatula
  • Place the other layer repeat the process
  • Shape the edges of the cake
  • Start applying yellow whipping cream on the whole cake and cover it perfectly
  • Using piping bag and any desired nozzle give design
  • For red whipped cream take a little white cream add red colour and mix that’s it
  • Pineapple cake is ready to be enjoyed

Note –

  • If the batter is too thick you can add 5 ml milk more to it.
  • Pineapple crush depends on your taste you can add more or less.
  • You know your oven best, so set the temperature to which it works best is 180 degree to 160 degree
  • My cake starts to burn at 180 degree so I bake at 160 degree
  • Don’t keep opening the oven to check on the cake , this will stop the sponge from rising perfectly.

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/2 cup sugar


  • First get orange juice ready
  • Take a bowl add whole wheat flour, sugar,orange zest,vanilla essence, baking soda,baking powder ,oil and orange juice
  • Mix it to a thick consistency
  • Pre-heat the oven at 180°deg
  • Place silicon moulds or cupcake moulds on a try
  • Fill it with the batter,leaving half inch space for muffin to rise
  • Bake for 35 minutes or till done
  • Insert a tooth pick, if it comes out clean,muffins are ready
  • Every oven differs so do keep a check
  • it took 35 minutes in my oven
  • Your yummy orange muffins are ready to be enjoyed with tea.

Parle-G biscuits cake/ Quick and easy parle-g cake

Parle-g is one biscuits which has become completely versatile.India’s most popular and loved biscuits till date.If you ever have travelled into interiors of India you’ll notice every chaiwala will have these packs of parle-g.Today i am making cake with parle- g,a quick and simple one without much ingredients.

  • 3 packets parle-g biscuits
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon choco chips
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 packet fruit salt (eno regular, no flavours)
  • 2 tablespoon grinded sugar(or as per tasteI prefer less sweet)


  • Take a blender and crush these biscuits to fine powder
  • Remove them in a bowl,add in sugar,milk,choco chips and vanilla essence
  • Give it a nice mix,if required add more milk for silky consistency
  • Pre-heat oven for 180 deg
  • Once oven is ready,add the fruit salt in the cake mixture and give it a nice mix
  • Batter becomes frothy
  • Immediately pour the batter in cake tin,sprinkle some choco chips on top and bake it for 25 to 30 minutes, or till the cake is done
  • Check it by piercing tooth pick
  • Remember add the fruit salt only when you are ready to bake don’t add and keep it out.this may spoil the cake
  • Every oven has its different cooking heat so do keep a check
  • Your parle-g cake is ready ,enjoy with tea
  • You can replace eno with baking soda

litti/bhauri recipe/How to make litti in microwave oven


This recipe is from the northern state of india,made with wheat flour in open flames called chulas or bonfire during winter season when all are out in front of the bonfire,so cooking goes hand in hand,quick and healthy recipe from my home,eaten with dal(lentils curry)or chokha.Lets see the recipe


2 cups wheat flour

1/2 cup maize flour

1/2 cup of ghee

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon ajwain(carom seeds)

water to knead the dough



Pre heat the oven @ 180 degree,now while the oven is getting heated.

Mix wheat flour,salt,ajwain,maize flour and ghee

Make a dough out of it and let it rest for 10 minutes

Start making small balls (lemon shape) and keep ready

Set the oven on grill mode on full power

Place the litti on the grill stand

Grill Littis/bhauri for 10 minutes

Remove it and flip it on the other side and grill again for 10 minutes


Dip them in ghee and serve hot with dal and chokha or chutney

Chocolate Banana cake(egglessWhole wheat flour)

Chocolate,this one name gives smile on everyone’s face,even me i just love them in any form,let them be as cakes,breads or anything else.Coming to the recipe all you need is ripe bananas and rest is like making cake.Kids favourite any time pack it the tiffin and they are good to go.



  • 4 ripped bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil(olive oil or sunflower oil)
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 butter milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 tsp cocoa powder(I prefer it can use according to taste)


  • Pre heat the oven at 180 degree celsius
  • grease the bread tin with some oil
  • mash the bananas well and mix it with sugar with help of blender
  • in the same mixture add-on vanilla essence,buttermilk and oil
  • sieve all the dry ingredients together.flour, baking soda,baking powder,cocoa powder and salt
  • now,fold the dry mixture into the banana mixture without any lumps remaining in it.
  • Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 30 to 40 minutes or till the cake is done
  • Timings of ovens do differ,so please keep constant check on the cake
  • After mixing all the dry and wet ingredients do not keep the mixture out of the oven,straight away keep it for baking
  • once the cake(check it with the help of toothpick) remove it from the oven and let it cool down.
  • with the help of knife clear the sides of the tin before removing the cake
